Job description:

Well established, beautiful and productive dental office is seeking an outgoing, motivated and experienced individual to join our amazing team. We have a fantastic and knowledgeable team already in place at the front, and we are looking to add one piece to that puzzle. The position is full-time and the applicant is expected to work 4 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• This job will require the individual to be well rounded in all aspects of a dental front office, but there will be a focus on finance and insurance.
• Review and present treatment plans with patients. This includes reviewing third party financing options.
• Checking in patients and checking out patients with attention to details regarding their appointments.
• Verification of insurance benefits including creating breakdowns for effective treatment estimates.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with hygienists and assistant to ensure the practice runs smoothly and on time.
• Create detailed notes of communications and interactions with patients to help all other staff stay on the same page.
• Learn and eventually master the practice software in most of its aspects and applications as well as other software applications.
  

Experience :

• Two years existing experience working in a dental front office. Experience needs to include the insurance and financial aspects of the job
• Experience and a knowledge of dental codes and coding on treatment plans
  Knowledge of dental insurance and trends with getting claims paid
• Understanding of third party financing such as Cherry, Sunbit, or Care Credit

• Experience with basic word processing and spreadsheet use
